It was a colourful event today as Ika North East Local Government Stood still for the IDIGUN of Otolokpo Barr Eugene Azuka Uzum Executive Assistant on Orientation earlier today gave back to his immediate constituency.
The ceremony widely attended by political leaders across Delta state had the Obi of Otolokpo member representing Ika Federal Constituency Hon. Nwaokolo Victor, member house of Assembly Hon Anthony Elekeokwuri, Hon Godwin Ogadi PDP Chairman Ika North East, The LGA Chairman Barr Ebonka Victor Alan K, Commissioner For Information Ogueshi Patrick Ukah, PDP Chairman Patani Comr Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu, State Coordinator DEPSOMET Comr Edwin Afejuku, first member Delta State Technical and Vocational Board Hon Smart Ikem Hon Lawrence Osiegbu, and Other Top Government Functionaries.
In his words the Orientation Boss Noted that the empowerment was geared towards ensuring that the people of Otolokpo had a feel of governance, and it was aimed at giving back to society, he further noted that it is quite important that his people enjoyed the dividends of Democratic democracy having supported the PDP over the years.
The party chairman Ika North East Hon Godwin Ogadi Noted that the people of Otolokpo will certainly get more government attention as this empowerment programme will be a continuous one.
The Royal Father On his part prayed God grant the PDP All Round Victory in the forth coming elections even as he encouraged all sons and daughter of Otolokpo to take a leaf from the kind gestures of Barr Eugene Azuka Uzum.
High point of The occasion was presentation of cash support to Seven indigent student (50k) Each, Cash Support For 10 Farmers, Presentation of 3 Vulcanizing Machines, presentation of 5Hair Dressing Sets, 3 Barbing Sets ,5 Generating Sets, 5Tailoring Sets Refrigerators and 3 Mini Bus And 3 Cars To Loyal Party Faithfuls and other mouth watering items . The event was described by followers and beneficiaries as the first of its in the Kingdom, they prayed God open the eyes of other politicians to see very good reason to empower their followers.
